Heat-insulating and sound-proofing mat made from sheep's wool.
Polarwool is obtained exclusively using new sheep's wool.
By means of a mechanical "needle punching" action, a mat with a density varying from 10 kg/m3 to 25 kg/m3 with a thickness of 5 cm. is obtained. No adhesives or resins are used. Permanent anti-dust mite treatment.
Applications.
Its physical structure makes it very versatile in applications: in particular it lends itself to insulating pitched roofs with wooden boarding and with brick-cement slab (Fig. A e B) both when new and renovating the existing one.
In case of an existing roof, it can easily be applied from the inside. It is also ideal to insulate floors that cannot be used for living purposes but that can be inspected (Fig. C)
