Manifattura Ariete awarded in Environment and Energy

Thanks to innovation, five companies obtained the Odyssesus 2010 award, presented on Monday 20th September in the morning at Convention Center, under the general assembly of Confindustria Bergamo. This recognition was created by Bergamo's industrials in 2008 for small and medium-sized companies who have distinguished themselves in five categories ranging from innovation to security.

Manifattura Ariete has been awarded in the Environment and Energy category for product Polarwool, acoustic insulation for construction application, 100% natural, made with sheep wool. Product is supported by many laboratory tests and certifications, both in energy and acoustic. High acoustic and thermic performance, both in winter and summer, high breathability, prevents the formation of mold and moisture in buildings. This partial company conversion from textile to construction applications allowed us to use and increase value of our territories' natural products, with strong support to sheep breeders of the entire Alpine chain.
